Who can apply for CUET UG?

  • Must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.Minimum marks required vary by course and university (e.g., 50% for General, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD is common).There is no fixed age limit for the CUET UG exam itself.

Section-wise marking

he questions are primarily based on Reading Comprehension of various passage types (factual, literary, and narrative), assessing understanding of the central theme and word meanings. It also includes questions on Literary Aptitude, Vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms), and Grammar (correcting sentences, fill-in-the-blanks).

Marking: Each correct answer: +5.00, Each incorrect answer: -1.00, Total Marks: 250

The CUET UG Domain Subjects (Section II) consist of 27 subjects based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Each subject has 50 compulsory MCQs and a 60-minute duration.

The CUET UG General Test (Section III) is a 60-minute exam with 50 compulsory multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct answer is awarded +5 marks, with a penalty of -1 mark for each incorrect answ
